Take an Adventure Tour

Alaska Seaplane offers two bear viewing tours that take place in two different locations. The first, the Pack Creek Grizzly Bear Viewing Seaplane Adventure, can actually be booked through Silverbow Inn. This adventure takes a total of eight hours. It starts with a 25-minute plane ride to Admiralty Island National Monument, followed by five to six hours of grizzly bear viewing time. There is a maximum of five participants in every tour, which means you’ll get more one-on-one time with the guide. The trip includes rubber boots, rain gear, a day pack, binoculars, and a healthy lunch with snacks. When you book the excursion through Silverbow Inn, we’ll also throw in a tram pass to get you to and from the plane.

The Waterfall Creek Bear Tour is similar to the Pack Creek, but it takes you to Chichagof Island. This excursion includes a shorter and easier walk and stunning waterfall views. No trip is better or worse than the other, so it entirely depends on your personal preference!

Book a Private Charter
