Visit the Haines Brewing Company
Haines Brewing Company started as a passion project for Paul Wheeler, a homebrewer who turned professional. Since they started in 1999, the company has grown from a location at the Alaska State Fairgrounds to their own storefront on Main Street in Haines. One of the best Alaska brewing companies around, Haines Brewing Company offers seasonal and permanent brews with cheeky names, like the Black Fang and Bigger Hammer. Their brews are typically dark, smooth, and rich, though there are some lighter beers like the Captain Cook’s Spruce Tip Ale or the Dalton Trail Ale.
