See a Show from the Juneau Symphony Orchestra
The Juneau Symphony Orchestra is just a 12-minute walk from Silverbow Inn. Their 2017-2018 season includes performances that feature music from Shakespearean plays, romantic pieces, and the music from the James Bond films.
Single concert tickets start at $32 for regular tickets and $35 for premium. If you purchase them at the door, they are an additional $3. Seniors, as well as youths and students, are both eligible for discounts on their tickets.

Juneau Student Symphony
Aside from the amazing performances held by the orchestra, the symphony is dedicated to encouraging and fostering talent in youths. The Juneau Student Symphony is one of the many ways they are doing so. Student musicians of all ages are welcome to join and improve their skills. Visitors are welcome to stop by rehearsals to listen in; they take place every Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Dzantik’i Heeni Middle School.
Youth Solo Competition
If you’re interested in combining healthy competition with talent, stop by the Youth Solo Competition. It takes place every year in late May and is open to all young musicians in Southeast Alaska. There is no fee to participate, and the winner of the contest is invited to perform their solo with the Symphony. It is an incredible opportunity for young performers, for sure!
