Book a Cruise with National Geographic and Lindblad Excursions
There are two Alaskan cruises from Lindblad Excursions that either departs from or arrive in Juneau. Both of these expeditions run in “reverse” occasionally, so you can choose the trip based on your preferences.
- Wild Alaska Escape: This is the shortest of the tours, ideal for guests who don’t want to spend more than one week on vacation. While it may not be as long as the other tours, it’s still jam-packed with plenty of opportunity for adventure. It’s the most active of the cruises, with kayaking, rafting, and a stop in the “adventure capital of Alaska,” Haines. Their standard cruise embarks at Sitka and ends in Juneau, though reverse itineraries are available. This tour has departures in early May through August. The price ranges from $4,390 to $7,710.
- Exploring Alaska’s Coastal Wilderness: Guests hoping to visit the famous Glacier Bay National Park should select this eight-day adventure! Their standard itinerary embarks from Juneau (just a short walk from our hotel!) and disembarks in Sitka. During the excursion, you’ll tour the town of Petersburg, a small Alaskan fishing town, and sail the Frederick Sound, traverse the iconic national park. This tour includes a special deal for families! With every two full-paying adults booking with Lindblad Excursions, you’ll get one child admission at half-off and a second child for free! This tour departs on Saturdays and Sundays from May to September. The price ranges from $5,990 to $11,770.
