Mendenhall Glacier Kayak Paddle & Trek

This is the perfect package for the multi-sport adventurer. Travel deep into the wonders of the awe-inspiring Mendenhall Glacier with an expert guide. You’ll kayak, explore ice caves, and trek through some of the most stunning landscapes in the region. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for bald eagles and mountain goats. This package is the ultimate way to explore the unparalleled beauty of the Alaskan wilderness.

Tracy Arm Fjord All Day Boat Tour

The Tracy Arm Fjord is at the top of many travelers’ Juneau itineraries. This 27-mile wonder in the Tongass National Forest consists of glaciers, icebergs, and an incredible abundance of wildlife, including whales, bald eagles, mountain goats, and even black bears.  On this incredible 45-mile boat ride, you’ll travel deep inside the Tracy Arm Fjord for an all-day adventure you’ll never forget. The tour departs two blocks from the hotel at 7:30 am every day. Lunch is available for purchase, but we recommend packing your own lunch using provisions from some of the great grocers and delis in town. Note: this tour is only available during the summer.

Pack Creek Grizzly Bear Viewing Seaplane Adventure

One of the most common questions people are asked after a trip to Alaska is “Did you see a grizzly bear?” Well, if you take this tour, you will have a great answer! After a 25-minute plane ride over striking Alaskan landscapes, you’ll spend the next 5-6 hours viewing grizzly bears in their natural habitat. This package includes a forest service permit, outerwear gear, and a friendly and knowledgeable guide.

Sea to Shore Tour

Experience the whales and wildlife of Juneau with the Sea to Shore Tour. On this family owned and operated boat adventure, you’ll enjoy unparalleled whale watching opportunities and then get on dry land to explore the surrounding shores and islands. The tour takes place on a private boat with up to six passengers and an informed guide and captain.

Taku Lodge Float Plane

This is a great tour if you want to experience the highlights of Juneau in a single day. It combines an awe-inspiring aerial sightseeing tour with a delicious and fresh salmon feast as the historic, 100-year old Taku Lodge. The Seaplane lands on the mighty Taku River and then docks at Taku Lodge, a dog training lodge that is on the National Register of Historic Places. You might even catch a glimpse of both brown and black bears.

Pilot’s Choice Helicopter Tour

On this tour, you’ll board a turbine-powered helicopter and fly over the stunning Tongass National Forest. It is the best way to marvel at the 7,000 ft. peaks and gorgeous Inside Passage waterways from above. You’ll land on two different massive glaciers, allowing you to get up close and personal with these incredible natural sites.
