We don’t offer a shuttle service, but travelers are cared for by a wonderful collection of Juneau taxis, as well as Ubers and Lyfts. It’s a short drive and we guarantee you’ll arrive safe and sound.

Yes, guests must be 21 years of age or older to check in.

At the close of the cancellation window, the credit card on file will be charged for the full balance of the reservation. Additionally, any reservations booked through an online travel agency (Booking,com, Expedia, etc.) will need to provide a valid credit card upon check-in to be authorized to cover any incidentals.

There is one ADA accessible room on the first floor. Any potential guests should also be aware that our beautiful, historic hotel was built prior to elevators, so all other rooms are located on the second and third floors. Thankfully, there are stairs… and we are here to help!

Please contact the website where your original reservation was created to make changes to your stay. These changes will then be reflected in our system.

What is the guest room cancellation policy?2024-01-09T16:20:36-08:00

From May 1 to September 30, reservations must be canceled or modified seven days prior to check in. From October 1 to April 30, reservations may be canceled or modified up to 24 hours prior to check-in. Any reservations canceled or modified after this cancellation window are considered nonrefundable and will be charged for the full balance of the reservation.

Aside from registered service dogs, pets are not allowed at the inn. Not even the cute ones.

Silverbow Hotel is a non-smoking facility. Smoking is permitted 25 feet from any entrance, in accordance with state law. If we smell smoke, we assume fire. At which point, the guest will be doused in fire extinguisher foam, Capital City Fire and Rescue will arrive, and they will be charged a substantial smoking fee.

Overnight guests can wander up to our rooftop deck with fire pits and hot tub, a social hangout for guests and their friends, open year-round.

Don’t worry! We have a full line of amenities including toothbrushes, shaving items, vanity kits, and more. Visit or call the front desk to request an item. There are also a number of local shops that provide travel necessities. Just ask, and we’ll point the way.

For our guests’ convenience, the front door is locked when the last guest arrives and we don’t have front desk staff on site. You may use your front door code to enter the building during that time frame.
